COUNTTABLE in ACTCAD:

The COUNTTABLE command in ACTCAD is a powerful tool used to generate a table listing the count of selected block references in a drawing.
This feature is especially useful in architectural, mechanical, and civil drawings where tracking quantities of components (like bolts, fixtures, furniture, etc.) is essential for BOM (Bill of Materials) and planning.

Step 1: Open the COUNTTABLE Command

  • Type COUNTTABLE in the command bar and press Enter.

Step 2: Select Blocks

  • You will be prompted to enter block name(s) or all blocks in the drawing.
  • Enter the block name or keep all blocks.
  • Press Enter after completing the selection.

Step 3: Table Insertion Point

  • Specify the insertion point for the generated table in the drawing area.

Step 4: Table is Created

  • ACTCAD will insert a table listing:
  • Block name
  • Count (number of occurrences)
  • The table will be automatically sized and formatted.
